Printable Corpus Christi drawing
This beautiful coloring page shows a special religious object called a “monstrance,” used during the feast of Corpus Christi.
Printable Corpus Christi drawing – At the center of the monstrance is a big circle called the Host, which has a cross inside it. This Host represents the Body of Jesus. Around the Host, there are long rays like sunshine, to show how holy and bright Jesus is.
Below the monstrance, we see two stalks of wheat on one side and a bunch of grapes on the other. These remind us of the bread and wine that become the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass.
At the top of the picture, the words “CORPUS DOMINI” are written, which means “Body of the Lord” in Latin. This is what we celebrate on the special day of Corpus Christi.
Children can enjoy coloring this drawing while learning about the importance of the Eucharist and the love of Jesus. It’s a perfect activity for catechism classes, church, or at home with family.
